My Story

I grew up in Singapore, surrounded by mixed cultures and strong European roots from my mum and a very British dad. I studied in the UK, began my career in Southeast Asia, then worked across London and Brussels before settling in Melbourne in my thirties. Very much an Aussie now — proudly so.

Early in my career, I was presenting work to senior stakeholders in Thailand and later working with petroleum companies across the Middle East. Those experiences taught me how to read a room, simplify complex ideas, and stay calm when the stakes are high.

I began in packaging and branding — learning the value of craft and clarity — before moving into digital and, over time, human‑centred design, where systems and people matter just as much as polish.

Outside of work, I run to reset (half marathon ticked off, full marathon still “in discussion”), love getting lost in nature, small towns and the outback, and unwind by crocheting or sketching.

Fun fact: as a baby, I once slept beside a baby cobra. Which probably explains why ambiguity doesn’t scare me — it mostly just makes me curious.
